As the 22nd International Entrepreneurship Forum (IEF) Conference has now come to a close, we would like to extend our sincere thanks to everyone who joined us in Istanbul, whether in person or online.
Under the theme โEntrepreneurship, Values, and Wellbeing in the Age of AIโ, the conference brought together researchers, entrepreneurs, policymakers, practitioners, and colleagues from across 20 countries and multiple disciplines. Over two and a half days we had the opportunity to exchange ideas, challenge perspectives, and explore how entrepreneurship can respond to a rapidly changing world, especially in the context of AI's rapid technological surge, mind blowing problems associated with climate change, and a range of connected issues all impacting on our lives and crying out for entrepreneurial solutions. It was interesting to see how the speakers offered functional, operational, functional, strategic, and crucially, human-centred perspectives on how individuals, organisations and ecosystems could adjust, change direction if necessary and innovate in highly complex and uncertain circumstances. Interesting, too, was the emergence of new networks of people exploring projects and different associations.
We would particularly like to thank all the keynote and specific topic-oriented panellists, paper presenters, and all delegates for the time, expertise, and energy you contributed to the programme. Your constructive engagement and openness throughout the the conference made the discussions meaningful, helping to create the collaborative spirit that we hoped to foster at IEF 2026. And to our partners at Ozyegin University, a special thank you for hosting and managing the local logistics for the event.
