Anita Umoh

Anita is the co-founder of Ayzer Center for Entrepreneurship, a non-profit organization located in Lagos Nigeria.

Ayzer meaning "Helper" advocates the adoption of entrepreneurial best practices in Nigerian businesses, leverages collaborations with both government and non-government development agencies to provide platforms which help local businesses learn , grow and scale their endeavours by creating access to training & capacity building in addition to finance while offering commercialization services to startups. She also advocates the adoption of technology and digital tools to improve efficiency in doing business. As a seasoned banker, her experience spans various sectors and strata in the Nigerian Banking industry affording the opportunity to take part in various initiatives involving collaborations with development organizations that support business growth. Notable are the Gender Empowerment Programme, an initiative between Access Bank Plc and International Finance Corporation (IFC) to support women-owned businesses as well as the Yes Transport Scheme, providing a public road transportation system for Port Harcourt City, Rivers State.

Anita holds memberships of the Chartered Institute of Bankers Nigeria (CIBN), Chartered Banking Institute UK and the Nigerian Institute of Management. She earned a Chartered Banker MBA and a first degree in Mathematics and Computer Science.She is also pursuing several programmes to gain depth in innovation, entrepreneurship and financial technology.
