DR SILKE TEGTMEIER

President of the European Council of Small Business & Associate Professor of Entrepreneurship at SDU Technology Entrepreneurship and Innovation

Dr. Silke Tegtmeier is Associate Professor of Entrepreneurship at Technology Entrepreneurship and Innovation, the Mads Clausen Institute, at the University of Southern Denmark. Before, she worked at Leuphana University of Lüneburg, Germany. She built up the Leuphana Conference on Entrepreneurship and co-lead the research project “Herself ‒ Self-employment in the Professional Career of Female Graduates”, granted by the German BMBF. Silke is President of the European Council for Small Business and Entrepreneurship. Her research interests are in the areas of entrepreneurial opportunities, entrepreneurial intentions, women’s entrepreneurship and technology entrepreneurship.
