Vijaya Gupta

Christian Wolf helped launch the SG4Africa project as the Entrepreneurship Coordinator at PEEP

She has been working as Professor of Economics at the National Institute of Industrial Engineering (NITIE), Mumbai. She has around 30 years of teaching and research experience. She has also worked as regular visiting faculty of Economics at the Sheffield University Management School and Sheffield Hallam University, Sheffield, UK. Her research interests are in the fields of environmental economics, development economics and agricultural economics in general and in particular social entrepreneurship, policy analysis, indigenous knowledge, valuation of intangibles, growth and environment, vulnerability assessment and adaptation for climate change in agriculture and other natural resources.
